The Bible Made Easy For Kids (Paperback)Dave Strehler
Help children make sense of the Bible.
The Bible is a big Book, and we are blessed to have such a collection of inspired writing – the Word of God – at our finger tips.
Yet, due to its sheer volume, fine print and writing style, children usually find it difficult to pick up and read a standard version of the Bible.
The Bible Made Easy – for Kids by Dave Strehler is aimed at helping your children make sense of the Bible by engaging them in practical ways to make learning about the Bible fun and interesting.
The Bible Made Easy – for Kids will guide your children through the Bible by:
- answering some of the most common questions they have about the events and characters in the Bible
- providing interesting facts to stimulate them and get them excited
- offering visual descriptions of what they read to help them remember
- drawing modern-day comparisons to certain Bible concepts/traditions and putting it into context
- word definitions
- Question and Answer sections that assess whether they can remember what they’ve read.
Also available in Afrikaans under the title ’n Ontdekkingstog deur die Bybel – vir kinders.

This book has been written to help you discover many new and
exciting things in the Bible. But like hidden treasure, you will
need to dig for certain jewels; and to find them you will need
to look in the only place on earth where heavenly treasure is
stored – the Bible.
The Bible Made Easy – for Kids will also help you piece together
the things you already know about the Bible. Like seeing the
full picture of a broken-up puzzle, this book will help you see
the big picture of the Bible so that you can fit everything you
already know in the right place, in the right way.
May you get to know and understand more of the Bible; and
by reading it, love the Lord more and more.
A word to parents
Children usually know many of the familiar Bible stories, yet
fail to make a connection between them in order to see God’s
overall plan for mankind.
There are also wonderful truths – hidden treasures – waiting
to be discovered and made available to children. Jesus said,
“I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You
have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and
revealed them to little children” (Luke 10:21).
The purpose of the book is to give children a comprehensive
grasp of the Bible. It is not a substitute for the Bible and should,
if possible, be used alongside a full version of the Bible so that
verses and passages of Scripture can be looked up.
