God's Message For Children (Paperback)Jan Van Der Watt & Stephan Joubert
God never forsakes His children. Adam and Eve knew this, Moses saw it when the Red Sea parted before him, Jesus came to demonstrate it and Paul told everybody about it.
In God’s Message for Children, every child is invited to join in on a journey through the Bible. God’s love for His children is shared from Genesis to Revelation through 366 short Bible stories.
Every story is a faithful narrative of the Word of God for optimal enjoyment and instruction. The simplicity of the language conveys the essential principles of the gospel. The passages are short, but will help children to discover Christ’s love in a simple, true-to-Scripture way.

In the Beginning ...
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Gen. 1:1
God made the heavens and also the earth. This was a very long time ago,
right at the beginning. Everything was pitch-dark. There were no people
or animals, only water. One day God said, “Let there be light!” Suddenly every-
thing was bright. God was happy with this light. He separated the light and
the darkness. God named the light “day” and the darkness “night.”
The next day God decided to make the blue sky that we see above us
every day. On the third day God gathered all the water together into one
place and called it the “sea”. The dry ground He named “land”. God was
very happy with what He had made. On that same day God also made all
the plants and trees.
On the fourth day, God made the sun to shine during
the day, and the moon and the stars to shine at night.
On the fifth day God made all the sea creatures and
fish. Also every kind of bird.
