‘Be still, and know that I am God.’

The world that we are living in today is so muddled and upside down. If we don’t find the peace of God that passes all understanding, we are not goingto make it. Ps 46:10 says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God.’

How are you feeling today? Are you feeling at ease or are you feeling tense and so tightly wound up that you feel like you’re going to explode?
We really need to learn how to hear from God. We need to spend time in His presence. When we learn to spend time in His presence, we start to hear correctly.

Jesus said, ‘Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.’ (Mt 11:28). Jesus continually told his disciples to come apart and rest a while. To spend time apart from the crowds and to rest. Surely if Jesus told His disciples this, then we should do the same. We need to learn to listen to God voice.

I really believe that God wants you to hear this word at this time. May the peace of God be your portion as you watch these four messages.- Angus Buchan.

    About Angus Buchan

Angus Buchan was originally a Zambian maize and cattle farmer of Scottish descent who started farming in Zambia but was forced to sell everything and move to Greytown, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa in 1976 due to political unrest in Zambia.

In 1980 he started the Shalom Ministries to preach in his local community. Over time he has become a full-time evangelist while the farm is now being run mostly by both his sons.

In 1998 Angus wrote a book about his life, Faith Like Potatoes, the book was turned into a film of the same title in 2006. Angus Buchan's Ordinary People is a 2012 semi-biographical film that tells the story of the growth of Buchan's ministry from the 1970s to the present, and that of three fictional characters whose lives are changed after attending one of his conferences.
